Fried Beef Chop in Shibuya~~ (May 2015)

My Graduation Trip!

One of the most important trips a person would ever remember is probably the graduation trip. Where a person is about to start the next stage of his/her life, he/she is probably going to go somewhere out of their comfort zone or go to their favourite places.

For me, I went to go around nearly the whole Japan. To me, Japan isn't just an urban city but a place where I felt a sense of belonging (somehow) and a great place to do stuff out of my comfort zone.

I began my exciting adventure in the city, Tokyo. I know a lot of blogs have already described and recommended many places in Tokyo to visit, so I won't be wasting your time on reading about the typical Tokyo experience.

Instead, I will describe the food that made my days and one of the most mesmerizing moments of my life - para-gliding in front of Mount Fuji!

I know you have probably heard about 豚カツ(Tonkatsu), which is the typical Fried Pork Chop. But following my Japanese friend, we have discovered a shop in Tokyo where it sells Fried Beef Chop instead!

It's called Motomura (Moto's village).

This shop is an underground one and it's quite popular because when we arrived, we had to queue up (and it's quite unusual to queue up for restaurant in Japan!) during lunch time!

Plus, the shop isn't that big so you better go early!

There isn't much choice in the menu but that's what they specialise in!

Fried Beef Chop + rice set = 1200yen

And you can get a smaller size on if you don't think you can finish it.(though I order an extra beef chop cos I wanted some more XD)

Extra small costed 500yen, extra big costed 700yen.

It comes with miso soup,
different sauces for you to tip the beef chop.

You can also fill up your bowl of rice once more for FREE!! (Japanese rice is my favourite cos I like the feel when you can bite it!)

The beef is surprising soft but the outer layer is crunchy~ yum!!
